Helping people through financial literacy has always been a passion.
Witnessing how this can change lives, businesses and futures is one of the most rewarding aspects of what I do. Growing up in a paycheck-to-paycheck environment, I saw first-hand the stress, worry, and instability it caused. I was motivated by that experience to educate myself about money in order to break this cycle of financial instability.
It took years of education, discipline, and a strong work ethic to accomplish my financial goals. I hope others will gain from my experience and learn everything they need to know to support themselves and their businesses profitably.
Education Is Key!
I have a heart for education. My previous experience as an Accounting Professor gave me the skills to help you learn effectively and efficiently.
Financial literacy is not a common teaching in standard education. Most people know what income is and may have even been taught budgeting basics or bank account balancing. However, most people don’t have a thorough understanding of their financial information and data or what they mean. Even more difficult is knowing how to use that information to guide decision making to ultimately maximize financial success. Beyond financial literacy, our compliance systems are complicated. Taxes are complicated. Whether you have to pay income tax, sales tax, occupancy tax, liquor tax or any other number of taxes, knowing how they are impacted is critical to a business.
